Eugene Klaasmeyer, P.E., founded Klaasmeyer Construction Company, Inc., in 1971. Since its founding, the privately owned and operated company has installed telephone cable and equipment for Level 3, AT&T, Verizon, CenturyTel, Desoto Gathering, and other independent companies in the region. Because we consistently perform high quality work for our clients, KCCI has become a leader in the South-Central telecommunications contracting industry.



Eugene "Gene" Klaasmeyer, P.E.
 President & Founder

Gene Klaasmeyer received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska. He is an honorary member and former President of the Power and Communications Contractors Association (PCCA).


Jim Bartlett
Telephone Manager

Jim brings over 30 years of experience in the field of telephone communications to KCCI. He started out with the company in 2003 managing the field office in Texas. His knowledge and management skills have moved him up the ladder to manage the overall company crews from the corporate office in Conway, AR.


Gary Fielder
Safety Director

Gary has over 30 years of experience with KCCI beginning as a field supervisor in 1981 and becoming safety director in 1986. He is also responsible for Workman's Compensation Insurance.


Don Hathaway
Splicing & Cable Installation Manager

Don joined the company in 2003 and is an excellent example of how hard work and dedication is rewarded by a great company. Don started as a laborer and has worked his way up to management.

Johnny Walley
Windstream Manager

Johnny has more than thirty years of experience and has been with KCCI since 2007. He also has worked extensively in the gas, water, sewer and CATV fields.

Penny Wagner
Bidding/Supply Manager

Penny has been with KCCI for more than 25 years. She began as a receptionist in 1988 and now bids materials. She is also responsible for purchasing materials for projects awarded to KCCI.

Beth Gray
Finance Manager

Beth has been with Klaasmeyer Construction Company for more than 20 years and handles all accounting and finance matters.  She joined the company in 1994 and holds a degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.

Larry Dawes
Equipment Manager

Larry handles DOT compliance and equipment repair costs.  He has a BA in English from the University of Chicago and has worked in construction management for more than 25 years. He joined KCCI in 2011.

Ginny Leffler
Payroll Clerk

Ginny manages payroll and KCCI health insurance. She joined the company in 2000.
